Hello fellow readers,
Scat (the dictionary.com defenition) - 1 to go off hastily, 2 the excrement of an animal. Scat can be used to say go away, or to describe the (there isn't a nicer way to say it) poop of an animal. For Nick Walters all he wants to see is a panther, maybe not even a panther maybe a footprint, or just a little panther poop. But when Truman Middle School goes on a field trip a panther call is heard, and then Mrs. Bunny Starch, notorious enemy of her biology classes disappears, but suddnly everyone thinks of Smoke. Smoke a half-pyro just looking for a spot to fit in has to battle with himself, and must realize when its time to stop running. An extremely funny book, and another environmental adventure Scat is a best-seller in the making. Carl Hiaasen comes back for his third Flordia wildlife adventure in Scat.
